I even got them both on a 3-way call, and Red Pocket asked for some random porting request ID number that my new provider has to literally jump through hoops to obtain. They kept changing what was required each time I called.

They are now literally holding my number hostage. I literally spent several hours on the phone between the new provider and Red Pocket trying to resolve the porting issue. Now that I’m trying to switch providers, I’ve been trying to port my number out. It should be a clue when you call customer service, and the connection is so bad, they have to repeat themselves multiple times. I constantly had dropped calls, failed calls, missed calls, missed texts, etc. I also want to add that I have an Apple 13, so not an old device. I’m a travel nurse, living in different cities every few months, so I tried giving Red Pocket a chance for several months. When I asked to speak to their managers, I was told that their managers were not available. I spoke with two different customer service employees within the last 24 hours and both assured me that while they are very sorry, there is nothing they can do.

Update: They have asked me to respond to them via private message which I am unclear how to do via Trustpilot. And I hope that this review convinces you to not use them either. I will not be using redpocket ever again. I needed an unlocked phone for traveling purposes so that I can use my phone overseas. But recently the straw that broke the camels back was a narrow unlocking policy that said because I had purchased my phone within a three month window of time (3/2022-9/2022) they would not unlock the phone until 9/2023 even though my phone is paid in full, I am a customer in good standing for years and I have no intention of switching. And I usually have to spend hours on the phone with them. I have been a redpocket mobile customer for several years. Horrible CS and bad policies that hurt the customer
